Roses and troglodytes have brought international fame to the city: the quarries of falun serving as a setting for the queen of flowers during the annual meeting of the Days of the Rose initiated since 1959! As for the Bioparc, it is an extraordinary animal park where the safeguarding of species and the preservation of the natural environment go hand in hand.

Day 1

10h - 11h : Here you are in the land of the Troglodytes. Start with the Mystery of the Faluns and its monumental underground cathedrals.
11h30 - 12h30 : Continue your underground parenthesis with Troglodytes and Sarcophagi, one of the most complete sites of medieval times. Stay in the cellar for a convivial and warm meal. You will discover some of our specialties including fouées.
14h - 15h : After the bottom, place above, visit one of the rose gardens of Doué-la-Fontaine.
15h30 - 17h : Meet at Museum of Old Trades for a fabulous journey through time! Continue the Troglo experience to the end and book your night in one of our troglodyte accommodation.

Day 2

10h - 11h : The next day, return underground with the visit of the village of Rochemenier, old farm with troglodyte dwellings and outbuildings.
11h30 - 15h30 : Next, discover the only troglodyte zoo in the world. the Doué-la-Fontaine Biopark. A troglodyte implantation allowing a strong immersion closer to the animals. On site, have lunch at the giraffe camp
16h - 17h : And to end this unusual stay, stop at the Troglos de la Sablière where the two specificities of Doué-la-Fontaine are united: the rose and the Troglodytes.
