Gennes-Val-de-Loire has one of the richest natural and historical heritages of Anjou. With the largest Loire frontage in our destination (approximately 18 km), it has a large number of sites and monuments covering the entire chronology of our regional history. While strolling through its picturesque villages, we invite you to discover its splendid Loire landscapes or forest plateaus revealing many curiosities.

Day 1

9h - 10h30 : Start your journey in Gennes-Val-de-Loire with a walk in the Small City of Character of the Thoureil.
11h - 12h30 : Then direction Saint-Georges-des-Sept-Voies for the discovery of a monumental and astonishing sculpture in troglodyte: theLand Propeller.
For the lunch break, picnic at the leisure center of Grezillé. Nature, tranquillity, swimming, a beautiful cocktail to recharge your batteries.
14h30 - 15h30 : After a gourmet break, go to the Mill of Sarre. One of the last water mills in France, to produce flour from wheat crushed with a stone grinder.
16h - 18h30 : To end your day, discover the town of Gennes, its amphitheater, the Magdeleine Dolmen and theChurch of Saint Eusebius which dominates the Loire landscape.

Day 2

Morning : Burn in you this moment of freedom with Anjou Nantes Hot air balloons. Magical moments, out of time, of pure poetry...
11h30 - 12h30 : Then direction Cunault and its priory, a masterpiece of Romanesque art with its 223 sculpted capitals, a real treasure.
12h30 - 14h : For lunch, go to the troglodyte cellar at the Cave aux Moines – the Blue Feet for a meal of local specialties: fouées, somersaults, snails...
14h - 15h : On site, visit the mushroom farm.
15h30 - 16h : Continue your day by visiting theHydroship, Longué-Jumelles water mill, completely renovated.
16h30 - 18h : And to end your day 2 options: board a traditional Loire boat, or go to the nautical base of Canoes of Anjou for a descent of the Loire by canoe or paddle.
