La Seignère is located at the foot of the hills, in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny vineyards and on the banks of the Loire. Its location is exceptional for sightseeing, walks in the vineyards or on the Loire à Vélo.
La Seignère is a XNUMXth century residence which, until the end of the XNUMXth century, housed a wine-growing estate which produced a Saumur-Champigny called "Clos de la Seignère". Since then, the vines have been sold to other operators in the region and the house has become a peaceful residence within a park.
Built in freestone, the “manor” style house is rectangular with two slight symmetrical projections between which an old glass roof has been fitted.
As soon as you enter "La Seignère", you will feel like you are in your guest house, a large XNUMXth century residence with all the decorative elements of the time.
The entrance will lead you to the lounges and verandas, you can stop there to refresh yourself, rest or read.
To access your room, you have to climb a period winding staircase, a real museum piece.
On the landing, upstairs, find the large family suite "Le Parc" and the room "Roseraie". Go up again and you will have other beautiful and large rooms: the "Les Coteaux" family suite, the "La catalpa" room, with a view of the park, and the "Les Vignes" room with a view of the vineyard.
In the morning, the "continental" breakfast made up of "fresh", "organic" and "homemade" products is served in one of the two verandas.
Weather permitting, take advantage of the heated outdoor swimming pool with pool towels available on request.
