"Let's drink! Earthenware tells the story of wine"

A partnership brings together ceramics from the collections of Nevers and those of the Château-Musée de Saumur, with exceptional loans. This exhibition traces the parallel evolution of wine and earthenware production from the 17th to the 19th century.

A traveling exhibition from Nevers to Saumur. A partnership brings together ceramics from the collections of Nevers and those of the Château-Musée de Saumur, with exceptional loans from the Louvre, the Cité de la Ceramique de Sèvres and the Museum of Decorative Arts. Thanks to the work of Jean Rosen, emeritus research director at the CNRS.

Duration:

From 10/02 to 31/03: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.

From 01/04 to 30/06: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m.

From 01/07 to 31/08: Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 19 p.m.

From 01/09 to 22/09: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m.
