Priory of Our Lady of Cunault

The priory of Cunault is a masterpiece of Romanesque art. Built between the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, the Notre-Dame de Cunault church reveals a large interior and has a long bright ambulatory.

The building is famous for its 223 sculpted capitals and its mural paintings which make it a real artistic treasure.
Do not miss these four works: the reliquary of Saint Maxenceul from the XNUMXth century, the statue of the Pietà in polychrome stone, the statue of Saint Catherine in polychrome wood and the chapier from the XNUMXth century.
