My name is L’école de Loire®. I am a local Saumur specialty, born from a partnership between Biscuiterie Besnard and Distillerie Combier de Saumur. I am a Fondant travel cake with almonds and orange liqueur "L'original Combier®"

Travel, yes, but certainly not on an empty stomach…! Fortunately, Romain Besnard, former owner of the Boulangerie Patisserie de Montsoreau, has thought of the demanding palates of travelers, and has skillfully created a new sweet specialty, with local flavors.
Happy with the Cake craze, Une Biscuiterie will see the light of day in 2024.
Éclat de Loire® is a soft almond biscuit with the Original Combier® orange liqueur. This “travel cake” stays moist for up to three weeks!
The flavor that emerges from the appetizing biscuit is due to the emblematic orange liqueur that has made the reputation of the Combier de Saumur distillery since 1834...
