Eco-labeled accommodation

Accommodation

Two hotels are eco-labelled on our territory:

• Hotel du Parc in Saumur (European ecolabel)
• The Originals, Le Londres Hotel in Saumur (label Green Key : label allowing to have the insurance of a preserved environment on its place of residence, and encouraging more respectful ecological practices in the sector of tourism.)

Campsites

• Three labeled campsites Green Key : Flower Ile d'Offard campsite in Saumur, Au Bord de Loire campsite in Gennes.
• The campsites huttopia Saumur and Huttopia Rillé campsite (37) (Huttopia: a type of holiday that respects the environment)
• Le Bois Davy campsite in Le Thoureil is a eco-place labeled Refuge LPO

With Kyrielle (operator of the agglomeration community for waste management), campsites are implementing waste sorting and a compost solution : Camping de l'Isle Verte in Montsoreau, Camping Terre d'Entente in Saint Martin, Camping Flower Ile d'Offard in Saumur, Camping le Barrier in Turquant, Camping de la Brêche in Varennes, Camping de la Grande Pâture in Vernantes.

Gîtes and bed and breakfasts

• The bed and breakfast L'ile du Saule in Saumur is labeled Panda cottage. Sensitive to nature and the preservation of the environment, the owner promotes local heritage.
• Labeled Park Values, Accueil Vélo et Loire by bike, The Domaine de Joreau in Gennes offers lodgings (Douceur Angevine, Belle Etoile, Logis Escale) and guest rooms, between the Loire and the Forest, for a countryside experience.
• Le Logis du Bourg Neuf is a gite located in Dampierre-sur-Loire and marked Park Values.

Committed restaurants

Restaurant Auberge des Isles in Montreuil-Bellay (Ecotable 3 macaroons). Ecotable meets the need to eat better, in a way that is more respectful of our health and the environment.

Committed to the Zero Waste Challenge

La Maine-et-Loire CCI accompanies restaurateurs in a process of reducing food waste, sorting and recovering waste, especially organic waste.
In Saumur Val-de-Loire, 10 restaurants have committed to this Zero Waste challenge: The Bad (Saumur), Brewery the 7 (Saumur), TheHostellerie St Paul (Vivy) Comedy (Saumur), La Philippiere (Long), Hazelnut Beef (Saumur), Le Keating (Saumur), The Casseroles (Rosiers sur Loire), L'ESSENTIEL (Saumur), butchery (Saumur).
