Tasting
Classified in the category of semi-dry or sweet white wines, it is characterized by its robe of an intense golden yellow, even amber for the oldest wines.
Its aromas of candied fruits, to exotic notes is sufficient on its own for an aperitif but it also goes perfectly with foie gras or desserts made with white or yellow fruits. Both rich and without excess sweetness, it seduces by its balance (more lively on the finish than on the attack), and the finesse of its aromas.
It should be eaten quite fresh (between 6 and 8 ° C) within 10 years, but the most concentrated Coteaux de Saumur will be able to age in the cellar for years after this period.
