Located south of Saumur, the Domaine du Vieux Pressoir has been a family winery since 1890. Located on the borders of Anjou and Saumur, the Domaine du Vieux Pressoir benefits from an exceptional terroir.
The Domaine du Vieux Pressoir produces wines with the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Saumur and Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame, whose expression reflects the typicality of this terroir. The 26 hectares are planted mainly with Chenin and Cabernet Franc. It is with pleasure that the producers will receive you at the estate to introduce you to their range of wines.
Possible visits:
1°) Tasting and sale during opening hours
2°) Guided tour of our cellars and explanations of our growing practices in organic farming, followed by a tasting of our different vintages. This visit will be an opportunity to discover our profession, and our different terroirs and appellations.
You will discover how we vinify our different wines by visiting our cellars (vat room, barrel and amphorae cellar) and our underground cellars.
The visit is followed by a commented tasting of our different cuvées.
3°) Tasting course: €35 per person (from 8 and up to 20 people). Initiation, improvement, fun and friendly, duration 2 hours, by appointment and subject to availability. Tailor-made organization.
