Family estate of 32 hectares in Varrains, in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny vineyard, the Domaine des Raynières is now managed by Sylvain Rebeilleau, who arrived in 2006, representing the 6th generation of operators.
It was in 1840 that we find traces of the Domaine des Raynières, managed today by Sylvain Rebeilleau.
The vineyard is planted with Chenin for the production of the whites and Cabernet Franc for the reds. The vines are managed in reasoned culture all grassed. Vinification takes place in an air-conditioned cellar in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.
The vineyard covers 32 hectares, essentially made up of clay-limestone soil. It is planted with Chenin for the whites (Saumur Blanc and Saumur Mousseux) and Cabernet for the Reds (Saumur-Champigny and Saumur rouge).
The tuffeau (the limestone subsoil) gives a particularity to the wine of the region since it absorbs excess water during the winter to restore it during periods of drought. The vine undergoes little stress, giving ample and supple wines.
