It all began in 1932, in the heart of Saumur. At that time, Armand David dedicated only 5 hectares of land to vines, the rest being used for cultivation to allow the estate to live in self-sufficiency.
More than 90 years later, our family continues this work in the vineyard and offers you a multitude of wines and appellations to taste: Crémant de Loire, Saumur Brut and demi-sec, Saumur Blanc and Rouge, Rosé de Loire, Cabernet d’Anjou, Coteaux de Saumur…
In the heart of a tuffeau basement, the Domaine offers free tours by appointment of its thousand-year-old cellar, witness to an intense troglodyte history for decades.
Our Domaine has HVE certification. We grass the entire vineyard and participate in various hedge and tree planting programs in order to bring certain species back to our region.
