Independent winegrower, the Clos des Cordeliers is located in Champigny, in the heart of the AOP Saumur-Champigny. For 4 generations, the Ratron family has been involved in the desire to make you taste typical wines of its Loire Valley appellation.
The vineyard is made up of 20 hectares of Cabernet Franc and 3 hectares of Chenin (1st harvest in 2023). It is divided into two types of subsoil: Tuffeau and Champigny stone. This diversity allows the development of two vintages of Saumur-Champigny Prestige and Tradition, with distinct qualities and aromatic richness. We also produce Crémant de Loire, Saumur Rosé, Vins de France and a grape juice.

From March to September, you can discover the winery and the underground cellars during a 1-hour guided tour (online reservation).
By reservation, you can also stroll through the vineyards during summer walks and hikes.
