Aude, Claire, Yoann and Cyril are happy to share their passion for bees with you in a privileged setting: the beekeeping operation is nestled in a forest of nearly 3000 ha in the heart of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Natural Park.
Aude, Claire, Yoann and Cyril represent the 4th generation of beekeepers on the farm created in 1920.
They perpetuate this tradition by sharing their passion for bees with visitors in a very privileged setting. Their farm is nestled in a setting of 3000 ha of forest, in the heart of the “Loire-Anjou-Touraine” Regional Natural Park, in the small village of Breille-les-Pins near Saumur on the edge of Indre et Loire.
The forest of pines, chestnut trees and heather provides an ideal setting for their bees to produce quality honey of exceptional diversity.
They have a herd of around 800 hives, spread over around fifty kilometers around Saumur, in 4 departments.
You can visit them all year round and discover their store open from Monday to Thursday, from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m. You will find a wide range of honeys and many gourmet products, made with honey from their bees. They also offer health products, such as pollen, propolis or even royal jelly.
On weekends, you can find Girard honeys with their traveling truck on the Saumur market on Saturday morning, Place Saint Pierre and on the Langeais market on Sunday morning.

NEW ! Tours of the honey house, led by a beekeeper, will also be offered from July 16 to August 23, 2024, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 16 p.m. (price: €5/adult - free for children under 12).
