Every year, the town of Saumur, located in the Loire Valley in France, celebrates the brewing tradition during its Beer Festival. This event brings together beer lovers from the region and beyond, providing a unique experience to discover a variety of flavors, aromas and styles of beer.
Over the years, the Beer Festival has established itself as an unmissable event in the Saumur autumn. A memorable evening dedicated to beer, conviviality and Bavarian culture with no less than 1856 meals served at the table.
The Saumur Beer Festival is a lively celebration of brewing culture, featuring many breweries. Foam lovers will have the choice of Krombacher and flavored Saint-Feuillen, Paulaner with or without lemon, non-alcoholic beer and other non-alcoholic drinks. All served at the bar, on tap and in a real glass mug.
Bavarian tradition dictates that we toast with the people who share our table: this is how we will hear the sounds of “Ein Prosit, ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit”! Toast to the joy of being together! A cult expression that will punctuate the meal every half hour.
In addition to tastings, the Saumur Beer Festival offers various activities and entertainment to enhance the experience of festival-goers. The atmosphere will be provided by a popular orchestra, the greatest hits will rub shoulders with the latest musical trends and will flow into a 100% live energy.
Take the Bavarian experience to its climax and opt for traditional outfits! The Dirndl for the ladies and the Lederhose for the gentlemen are the perfect outfits for partying in style. The competition still remains open to more or less eccentric costumes and disguises...

Remember that alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health and should be consumed in moderation. For this, a prevention and fight against addictions stand will be present. There you will find a breathalyzer, tablets, coffees and advice on how to return home safely.
Sesame to participate in the Beer Festival, the 1856 PASS available must be reserved online! The pass gives access to the evening, the meal, 1L of drink and a glass mug. Pass price not known to date.
When purchasing your pass, you have the option to choose your table and your seat. Prepare your table plans and remember to book as a group!
