The oldest artisanal distillery in the Loire Valley still in operation, which in 1834 produced the Triple Sec "L'Original Combier orange liqueur".
The route passes through the still room, a magnificent XNUMXth century installation designed by Eiffel engineers. Home to the origin of the famous Triple Sec liqueur, the distillery today produces a wide range of liqueurs, gins, absinthes and syrups. The tasting at the end of the visit is an opportunity to taste the flagship products, the alcohol-free syrups, and the famous varieties of absinthe. Also producing Guignolet d'Anjou, Angevin soups, a regional specialty of which the Saumur distillery is the cradle.
