In a 19th century hall of the Maison Bouvet-Ladubay, discover this permanent exhibition of more than twenty horse-drawn carriages.

Bouvet Ladubay, Saumur Attelage and the IFCE - Institut Français du Cheval et de l'Equitation - have joined forces to jointly ensure the cultural and tourist exploitation of this collection with an unprecedented public & private partnership to promote the horse-drawn heritage of the National Stud Farms . This exceptional heritage testifies to the variety of uses of the team and know-how in terms of bodywork, wheelwrighting and upholstery.
These 19th century cars, made available by the IFCE and a travel car, the “Coupé Dormeuse”, by the Château-Musée de Saumur, some benefit from protection as Historic Monuments.
