Matmae ceramic

Fascinated by the work of clay, Delphine Dugué had a real revelation when she began to model this material. Today, Delphine is a ceramist and invites you to discover her know-how through her creations.

Mainly coiled stoneware and slab work. Experimentation around the texture of the earth, the raw, mineral side.
Creation of refined, elegant pieces, unique pieces or small series, decorative or utilitarian.
Constant search for new textures, soft, rough, mineral… Ceramic appeals to several senses, sight but also touch, contact with the material is very important.
The workshop is labeled Atelier d’Art de France.

Discovery course, modeling initiation:
The workshop invites you to share a friendly moment, hands in the ground!
You make 2 pieces, using 2 different techniques: the pinched and the coil. For each achievement, Delphine guides you through the different stages.
Following this course and after a drying period, Delphine takes care of firing your pieces and glazing them. You can then come and collect them within about a month, depending on the rate of cooking.
Just come with an apron and your good mood!
Duration: 3 hour.
Sessions of 2 to 3 people maximum.
Price: €60 per person (the price includes the clay, the 2 firings and the enameling).
For children from 8 years old.
