The Tank Museum has a unique collection in the world of nearly 800 tanks and military vehicles, 250 of which are exhibited in this museum. You will appreciate this visit accessible to all.
In Saumur, discover the Musée des Blindés and its unique collection of armored vehicles, military vehicles from the First and Second World Wars to the present day. 250 models are presented to the public, French, German, English, American or Russian armored vehicles, some of which are still in working order and are even "stars" in films!
Through the 12 exhibition rooms, discover an incredible presentation accompanied by frescoes, explanatory panels, models in period costumes, numerous accessories and weapons of war. Even famous men are represented in real size with their biography (De Gaulle, De Lattre de Tassigny to name only the most famous). A history lesson accessible to all, where one feels emotion.
A game booklet is available to families at the entrance to the museum. It allows you to discover the tanks of the museum thanks to a fun route.
During the spring holidays, from April 15 to 26, the Musée des Blindés offers you thematic guided tours to discover the museum in a different way.

- Atomic bomb VS assault tank: Monday to Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 15:15 p.m.
