Château de Brissac

  • Top deals

In the heart of a typical village and surrounded by a vineyard bathed by the Aubance river, Brissac raises its monumental facades.

About us

Nicknamed the "Giant of the Loire Valley", this castle has been the residence of the Dukes of Brissac for more than half a millennium. A visit to the salons and ceremonial bedrooms reveals a dazzling decor of ceilings painted and gilded with gold leaf.

The collection of works of art and portraits classified as Historic Monuments testifies to the rich history of this Angers monument.

In addition to visiting the surprising Belle Époque theater and the water underground, the discovery of this emblematic site can continue with pleasant walks in the landscaped park with romantic tones.
